WP 9: Financial viability
The study on financial viability starts early in the project, since a final aim for developing
a wave energy conversion device is the production of electricity from renewable sources at low cost.
A financial model for the development, construction and operation of the device will be developed.
The work on financial viability will be used also to benchmark the cost of production of wave energy
against the cost of production of wind energy, biomass and other sources of production of renewable energy.
